Karori is a member stud of the New England Merino Field Days which are held every 2 years, the next Field Day to be held in of January, 2022.
Karori sells rams at its On-Property sale at the end of January each year. Appromimately 60 horn and semi-poll rams will offered at the On-property sale on Saturday the 30th January 2016 and paddock rams will be available for private sale after the auction.

Karori first offered rams for sale at the Armidale Unhoused Merino Ram Sale in 1998.
Karori received the 2nd highest average price per ram in 2001($2384), 2004 ($1550.00) and 2005 ($1675) for 1 year old rams at the Armidale Unhoused Merino Ram Sale. In 2001 they also sold the highest price ram for $6400.00 at this sale. We are now focused on only selling rams at our on-property ram sale at the end of January each year.

RAM SALE RESULTS
At our inaugural on-property sale in January 2002 we offered 76 rams at auction with the top priced ram selling for $6700.00 and with an average sale price of $1200.00.
In 2004 our on-property sale 79 rams were sold averaging $1620 with a top price of $5750.
In 2005 84 rams were sold for an average of $1226 with a top price of $3200
In 2006 there was a 90% clearance of 75 rams for an average of $1298 with a top price of $3100
In 2007 we sold 57 rams for an average price of $1246 with a top price of $2800
In 2008 63 rams were sold for an average of $1768 with a top price of $5000
